I've started watching a new anime series and innocently went to AO3 to see if there's fic. Hoo boy is there ever. A currently hot fandom, with lots of new fic appearing daily. I forgot what that's like! Don't have the urge to write for it myself though. No spark of inspiration, plus the fandom apparently has lots of other people writing anyway.

I tried Nikita, but the awesome Maggie Q isn't enough to get me to watch a show that hits my Dollhouse Ick Factor so hard, so soon, and so often.

It was a mostly bad week for me TV-wise. Thursday's FlashForward bored me so totally that I bailed 30 minutes in and won't return. Everybody has such repetitive angst. Then Dollhouse made me so enraged that I never want to watch anything Joss Whedon is involved in ever again.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog: An Oral History, a longer version of the article in the magazine, may be from Entertainment Weekly, but it's made up of quotes from everyone involved in making it about the origins of the project, how they filmed it, and some things that will be on the DVD edition. By the way, it was somewhat amusing listening to the first, heavily buffered eight seconds my computer allowed of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Act I. It sounded like "Ha. [silence] Ha. [silence] Ha. [silence] Ha."
